Current version: 1.0.0
All notable changes to Translate Pro are listed here. The format follows Keep a Changelog, and the module uses Semantic Versioning.
[1.0.0] - 2026-10-19
First release.
Added
- Translation drafts in Qoliber → Translations: add, edit, filter, and delete PHP and JavaScript phrase overrides per area (storefront or Admin), target locale (including script variants such as
zh_Hans_CNandsr_Latn_RS), and store view, with placeholder validation, revision checks, and separate view, edit, delete, and publish permissions. - Reviewed publication: compare the exact pending changes of one scope, then publish them as an immutable version that PHP and browser translations switch to together. Store view overrides take precedence over locale defaults, and staged removals stay live until they are published.
- PHP phrase overrides through Magento's phrase renderer, cached per version and scope, including emails rendered in an emulated store scope.
- Browser (RequireJS/Knockout) dictionaries stored in the database and served from immutable, cacheable URLs. Publication creates no runtime files, as Adobe Commerce's read-only filesystem requires. An optional verified
pub/mediacopy is tried first, with the database endpoint as fallback. - Merge and Complete browser dictionary modes in Stores › Configuration › Qoliber › Translate Pro. Merge applies overrides on top of the deployed native dictionary, so static content deployments need no republish. Complete serves one dictionary per store view and theme and falls back to merge after a deployment until it is rebuilt.
- Rebuild dictionaries in Admin and
bin/magento qoliber:translate:rebuildfor Adobe Commerce post-deploy hooks, andbin/magento qoliber:translate:publishfor scripted publication. - Publication verifies that the database stored the snapshot and every dictionary completely before activation. A failed build leaves the previous version active.
- Cache invalidation of
layout,block_html, and the full page cache with verified Varnish purges, Retry cache invalidation after a failed purge, and theqoliber_translate_publication_invalidateevent for CDN adapters. - Unit and Magento integration tests.
