Media Player Widget - Usage

This document provides instructions for using the Media Player Widget module.

Usage

  1. When editing a WYSIWYG-enabled field (like CMS page, block or product description) click "Insert Widget" and select one of following widgets:
  2. Audio Widget
  3. Media Player Widget

  4. YouTube Widget

  5. Fill the required fields and select thumbnail image (if option present) and the media file (if present).

  6. Insert the widget.

When uploading media files to media gallery, you need to refresh the page for them to appear. This seems to be an issue in Experius_WysiwygDownloads which we use for handling media files. In future versions this dependency will be removed, so following issue won't be present. The module also requires changes to nginx configuration so the media files can be served.
